The hustle and bustle of getting yourself and your family out the door in the morning is enough to make anyone’s head spin. Unfortunately, morning madness can lead to healthy breakfasts falling by the wayside. These top 10 healthy breakfasts will get everyone fed, nourished, and out the door in no time!

  1. Smoothies. It doesn’t get much faster than breakfast in a cup. Speed the process by stocking the freezer with premade baggies of smoothie ingredients you can just toss in the blender in the morning.
  2. Avocado Egg Toast. Top a piece of your family’s favorite variety of bread with slices of avocado and a sliced boiled egg for a complete breakfast ready in no time.
  3. Breakfast burrito. No need to limit this convenient meal to dinner. Fill a tortilla with eggs, greens, beans, and salsa and you’ll have a full breakfast all wrapped up together.
  4. Homemade Trail Mix. Toasted oats, nuts, and unsweetened dried fruit mixed together makes a breakfast ready trail mix that’s easy and much healthier than store bought varieties.
  5. Chia Pudding. Chia seeds give you a terrific dose of omega 3s to power your brain in the morning. To make this breakfast that tastes like a treat, just stir a couple of tablespoons of chia seeds into the milk of your choice, let it soak, and then top with fruit and nuts.
  6. Apple “Sandwiches.” Use thinly sliced apples instead of toast and top with nut butter. Bonus: sprinkle with cinnamon for a bonus dose of antioxidants.
  7. Breakfast cookie. Make an oatmeal cookie using bananas and applesauce to sweeten instead of sugar and you’ll have a perfect, filling breakfast to start the day.
  8. Homemade power bar. Combine equal parts walnuts and dates in a food processor and then form into bars to grab on the way out the door.
  9. Overnight Oats. Stir oats, milk of choice, and any seasonings or toppings you like together in a mason jar and store in the refrigerator overnight for a breakfast that’s ready to go when you wake up!
  10. Egg cups. Protein and vegetables in the convenience of a muffin cup? Yes, please! Whisk together eggs and your favorite veggies and bake in muffin tins for a breakfast as nutritious as it is easy!
